About the event
Join us for an unforgettable theatrical reading experience as we proudly present the pilot episode of "Seattle CRU: Hurricanes and Honeybees"! Step into the high-stakes, high-octane realm of the Seattle Police Department's Crisis Response Unit (CRU), where a team of elite specialists fearlessly tackles mental-health emergencies. Inspired by actual events, this gripping series is a collaboration between former Seattle Detective Sergeant T. Joseph Fountain and award-winning screenwriter Connie O'Donahue.
This exclusive reading will be performed on May 24 at the Lander Art Center and May 25 at the Riverton Library at 6:30 pm. A chat-back with the writers Connie O'Donahue and Joseph Fountain and the artistic team will follow all performances.
**Content Warning** Seattle CRU includes content that some viewers may find challenging, including profanity, references to alcohol consumption, and descriptions of mental health emergencies.
